Details on fundraisers the Club will be running for the 2009 Season All three teams are showcased on our poster which is sponsored by local businesses and families in the community. The poster also highlights the seniors who are graduating and have given so much to the the Raider Boys Soccer program. For the 2009 Season we will also be creating a media guide with information and photos of all of our teams.
Poster/Media Guide Donation Form - Obtain and print a donation form to present to a business or individual and then return it to a Club officer. The form is Adobe Acrobat format, for which a reader can be freely downloaded below: [ Download Form ] Every season we have a car wash to raise money for the club. It's lots of hard work but also lots of fun. We're always looking for towels, soap, and hoses to be donated for the day. And of course we can never have enough washers, rinsers, and dryers for the hundreds of cars we work on! This year's Fall Car Wash will be held on the morning of Sunday, August 30th from 8am to 11am at Applebee's on Route 206 (this is a change due to inclement weather). Thanks to Janet Pescinski for volunteering to organize the event again this year. Details and volunteer opportunities will be distributed after team selection. Each player will be asked to participate in a 1.5 hour shift at the car wash in addition to helping in the pre-sale of car wash tickets.
IT'S TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN!
For those of you unfamiliar with a "Soccer Ball" this fundraiser
is a night out for parents of the players and supporters
of the program to come and enjoy good friends' company,
dinner and dancing, and to celebrate the accomplishments
of the season.
To date we have held 3 "Soccer Balls" and all have been great successes and have raised funds to support the soccer program. Ask anyone who has attended in the past and they will tell you what a great time they had. Mark your calendars........ the 1st Soccer Ball of the 2009 Season will be held on Saturday September 26nd at "The Barn" (thanks to the Smith family for hosting). Come out and have a great time and support the program. Bring your friends as well, the more the merrier. See attachment for more details. Hillsborough Soccer Apparel Fundraiser

Link to HHS Boys Soccer Apparel Sale Plans are in the works for our 2nd HHS Soccer Club BINGO Fundraiser to be held on Friday October 2nd at the Hillsborough Municipal Building. $10 admission gets you started with 3 BINGO cards and a BINGO marker!! ALL PROCEEDS will benefit the HHS Boys Soccer Scholarship Fund. Details and volunteer opportunities will be sent out in early September. Bring your family and friends (remember no one under 18 will be admitted). Come out, have some inexpensive fun and support a great cause! You may be a big winner!! Plans are in the works for the 2nd annual cow flop in the Spring of 2010. Stay tuned for details May 2009 - What's a Cow Flop you might ask.....It’s a fundraiser in which numbered tickets are sold which correspond to numbers on a grid. (kind of like a Super Bowl pool) The event venue is the Smith Farm on East Mountain Road. A large grid of 500 squares is marked within a fenced area and two cows will be within the area. Each ticket corresponds to a square on the grid. If a cow “flops” in your square, you are a big winner! No guessing necessary- it’s completely random luck! How will the money raised be used? Our goal is to sell 500 tickets. Half of the money raised will go towards 2 prizes (one each for the 1st and 2nd "flop") The balance will fund the HHS Boys Soccer Scholarships as well as support the program for the upcoming season. Update - The Cow flop was a great success! All 500 tickets were sold and additional funds were raised through concession sales. Many thanks to the volunteers and organizers, especially the Smith family who did lots of work to host the event. Please consider donating your time to one of these functions.
