    Scholarship Awards

The Hillsborough High School Soccer Club, Inc. will be awarding scholarships to Graduating players on the 2011 team.  Any type of formal post high school education will be considered.  The student?s financial situation will not be a consideration. 

These scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Athletic Banquet held in June.

The following criteria will be considered in deciding the recipients:

• 1.      The applicant must be a graduating senior.

• 2.      The applicant must be a member of the Program for at least two years.

• 3.      The applicant must exemplify desirable qualities of behavior on and off the field; comply with school regulations; demonstrate honesty, reliability, teamwork and sportsmanship.

• 4.      The applicant must demonstrate leadership amongst his teammates. 

• 5.      The applicant must be Involved in community service.

• 6.      The applicant must be academically eligible to participate in high school sports.

• 7.      the applicant must submit three recommendations, only one of which can come from a coach

• 8.     The Applicant must submit an essay of approximately 250 words entitled, ?The role hhs raider soccer has played in my life and how I believe it will help me in the future.?
